They have made a happy customer out of me. Servergrove (aff link) has been nothing but a great host since day 1. They worked through my ignorance of how to run a VPS, or even connect to one (SSH, yeah, duh).
Every time I have submitted a support ticket their response was nearly immediate.
Down time is as non-existent as you can find.
Their prices are fair and their products competitive. I have found them to be cheaper than nearly any alternative for their low end VPS offerings. If you plan on scaling upward fast then some others are cheaper.
The new control panel (control.servergrove.com) is powerful and easy to use.
I don’t program with PHP much any more, except for existing platforms when I have to, but Servergrove does a lot to help the PHP community and Symfony in particular. They make it painless to launch Symfony applications.
I highly recommend them for anyone looking for hosting, particularly VPS hosting.
It isn’t often that I blatantly endorse a product, but when I do it’s because they’ve done a lot to make me a satisfied customer (which isn’t easy to do!)
So choose Servergrove.
